What can I spend before payday?
Almost every budgeting app answers for the calendar month. Most New Zealanders are paid weekly or fortnightly. KiwiBudget budgets on your actual pay cycle, so the number on screen is what is safe to spend between now and your next pay. It connects to your New Zealand bank read only, sorts your spending on its own, and is built in Invercargill.
Built for New Zealand
- NZ bank feeds. Connect ANZ, ASB, BNZ, Westpac, Kiwibank or The Co-operative Bank through a licensed New Zealand open banking provider. Transactions arrive on their own, read only.
- Smart categories. Spending sorted against our own New Zealand merchant list, so Pak'nSave is groceries and Z is fuel. AI is optional and off unless you switch it on.
- KiwiSaver tracking. See your KiwiSaver balance alongside the rest of your money.
- NZ tax calculator. Work out your real take home pay on your actual tax code, using current IRD rates, including PAYE, the ACC earner levy, student loan and IETC.
- Spending alerts. Set a limit on any category and get a nudge before you go past it.
- One weekly number. The answer to the only question that matters: what can I actually spend until payday.
